How to Apply

Step1:Register Application Information
【Prior to the deadline of the admission procedures】(online)

  1. Select and Click the appropriate button below
  2. Register your information
  3. Download the “Applicant Information Registration Confirmation Form”(PDF file) from the screen that appears after completing the registration
  4. Print out the first page of the PDF file, fill in your Examinee's number and name, and submit it together with other admission documents at the time of admission procedures without paying the admission fee.
  • Please note that applications cannot be accepted if the admission fee has already been paid

Step2: Submit Application Documents
【September 24 (Tue.)2024~October 2 (Wed.) 2024】 (by post)

If you are applying for Kobe University tuition exemption in the 2nd semester 2024, STEP2 is not required. In that case, please be sure to apply for tuition fee exemption from the link below.

The application process including the schedule is different from the one described below.  Please contact the academic office of each graduate school directly for details

To apply for admission fee exemption / deferral, in addition to the application form, it is necessary to submit documents related to financial situations.

Please read the "Check Sheet" carefully and be sure to submit all the required documents.  Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted for any reason.

Required Documents

1. Check Sheet (Excel, PDF): All applicants

Please answer the questions on the downloaded check sheet (Excel file) to prepare all the required documents. Please print all sheets of the completed Excel file on one side of A4 and staple the upper left corner of the check sheet to submit. If you cannot use Excel, please use the PDF version.

2. Household Status Report (Tuition Fee Application Form) (Excel, PDF): All applicants

3. Statement of No Income and No Occupation (Form1):Applicants whose spouse is not a student and has no income.

4. Scholarship Information Report (Form3): All applicants

This is required regardless of whether you have received scholarships or not. If your spouse is a student, your spouse's Form 3 must also be submitted. Please be sure to attach a copy of the scholarship acceptance letter, etc.

5. Family Income Report (Form 4): All applicants

This is required regardless of whether you are working or not.

6. Student Registration Certificate (Form 6)

Applicants whose spouse or child is a student (high school or older) and lives with them in Japan.

7. Economic Balance Report (Form 11): All applicants

8. Copy of Housing Rental Agreement: All applicants except those who live in a dorm provided by Kobe University or Hyogo International House.

9. Copy of Residence Card: All applicants

If you have a spouse, your spouse's copy is also required.

10. Pay Slips: Applicants who have a job

If your spouse has a job, your spouse's documents are also required.

11.Power of Attorney :Applicants who want to submit by proxy

Announcement of the Result

Application result will be announced on the Academic Affairs Information System "Uribo-Net" after December, 2024.
Please log in to "Uribo-Net" and go to "Bulletin board" and then "Message for you".
Please select "Results of Admission Fee Exemption for 2nd Semester 2024" from the list and check the result.
